ODYSSEY: A Movement Experience
What is… a movement practice?
Why… practice movement?
Who is… a movement practitioner?
ODYSSEY: a two-day weekend training intensive, presenting accessible, systematic pathways into an expansive movement practice. Exploring the why and the how that makes the movement practice unique.
The breadth of movement practice is confusing, challenging, and leads to becoming easily overwhelmed.
Why are we practising movement?
Why do we call it movement, versus fitness or just exercise?
How do I practice with a clear intention, instead of it becoming random and disconnected?
How do we bring order to the chaos that is the vast open ocean that is movement?
Within the ODYSSEY, we will explore these questions, both intellectually and experientially.
Enter into the world of:
● Whole Body Joint Literacy
● Elasticity and Power Generation
● Open Form Strength Tasks
● Floorwork and Soft Acrobatics
● Balance and Rhythm
● Environmental Practice
● Relaxation and Self-Observation
Open new doors, spark your curiosity, and discover new ways of seeing the possibilities within movement practice — and how that makes all the difference.
This weekend will leave you feeling inspired and pumped more than ever to dive into your practice.
Who is it for?
