Workshops with Fabian:

Locomotion & floorwork,

handbalancing & partner acrobatics

Day 1 - Locomotion & Floorwork - Saturday

In this workshop, we’ll dive into floor-based movement and explore the ground as a partner rather than an obstacle. We’ll practice different entries into the floor and work with locomotion patterns such as lizard crawls and other foundational shapes. Patterns will be isolated first, then connected, and finally opened up into playful improvisation—where exploration becomes the real test. Through this process, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of how to use the floor as feedback, allowing movement to feel smoother, more efficient, and effortlessly flowy.

day 2 - Handbalancing & Partner Acrobatics - Sunday

This workshop blends focused handbalancing technique with playful partner acrobatics. Drawing inspiration from the work of Yuval on Hands, whose approach has strongly influenced Fabians practice, we’ll explore efficient alignment, weight transfer, and balance upside down. From there, we’ll expand beyond linear handstand drills and experiment with creative ways to balance with or on another person. Expect new perspectives, shared balance, and fresh ideas on how to approach inversion through connection, play, and curiosity.

About Fabian

Coach Fabi is a movement, handstand, and acrobatics coach from Frankfurt, Germany whose journey into movement began with a life-changing moment. Nearly ten years ago, while traveling in Vietnam, he survived a serious motorbike accident that almost cost him his life. The experience profoundly shifted his perspective, inspiring him to explore movement, health, and the potential of the human body with much deeper intention.

Since then, Fabi has dedicated himself to the study of movement. He has been practicing handstands for over eight years and spent the last six years learning from some of the best handstand coaches worldwide, particularly Yuval Ayalon and Ulrik on Hands, collecting and refining effective drills and training methods for building strong and sustainable inversions.

A major influence on his journey has been Merlin Lang, with whom Fabi has worked closely for the past six years. Through this mentorship—rooted in the movement philosophy of Ido Portal—he discovered a deeper appreciation for the body and learned to move, train, and explore physical potential in ways he had never imagined before.

Throughout his path, Fabi has also trained and collaborated with high-level circus acrobats, gaining insight into professional-level body control, awareness, and performance.

Before dedicating himself fully to movement and acrobatics, Fabi competed on Ninja Warrior Germany, where he placed among the Top 40 athletes of his season. He later qualified for Ninja Warrior Allstars, where the best competitors compete against each other on an even more demanding obstacle course.

Today, Fabi combines his background in obstacle sports, handbalancing, movement practice, and acrobatics to help students build strength, confidence, and a deeper connection to their bodies. For him, movement is not only about physical skill—it is a lifelong exploration and a celebration of being alive.
